It doesn’t look like to me that your fingers are making these two chords the same way you show in your tabs. Great practice for finger work..I love chords and strumming and rhythm studies with that, but this is what I need practice on and what I crave to learn more of…the coordination of the frets and strings and the rhythm feel for the notes! I would love to be able to get backing tracks,BLUES OF COURSE, I am a big fan of FREDDIE KING and would love to get backing tracks.

I puchased the tore down set and already I can do some things not done by me in 35 years…very good. to get the strings to bend w/out all the squeeks Im getting now>? Can ya help on that level?? I like the way your method of teaching blues guitar in small increments, it works well and it sets you up as you follow along with each lesson, before you know it you are noodling and playing blues riffs. I having problems with trying to download your postings, i missed out on the 4 note solo video, got everything else like TABS and such, but cant download the video, its a bummer as i like the fact that you explain the technique and style very well. As soon as I’ve got some extra cash be assured I’m in for your program.
*NOTE* the “slow jam track.wmv” is actually a MP4 and others may have trouble with the download as I did. Now I need time out of the drum workshop to excercise my fingers again. Peace I’m a 56 year old retiree that plays for my own pleasure. I still have my first wife and 2 kids plus grand 4 kids. WE sounded GREAT!!!! Todays lesson really got to me. There’s a method to the madness there. Merci merci Griff. I have been real busy with work and not able to put much time into this,but it won’t always be this way. If you have Eric Clapton’s “From the Cradle” CD (or mp3 or whatever those kids are listening to these days) you’ll hear he did a killer version of it. Been playing for quite a few years now A great Funtime practice tool. Great timing for these rhythm lessons, as some (many) of us are doing a Lead lesson of Tore Down from Bob Murnahan right now. Dear Griff, Nitsuj Learning Guitar. But, I am trying to learn the Blues and you do a great job of going slow to performance speed. Another very cool lesson. Great teaching site. Bending is an essential technique if you want to speak the blues language. Tell your friends, hell, tell everyone. Gets you moving rapidly up and down the fretboard using alternate picking. We have a jam session at which we have mandelin and banjo players partake. That is *very* much appreciated, and I'm extremely grateful for Sonic Junction. Fantastic griff….nice patterns…learning alot. I’ve been playing guitar “camp fire style” for 35 years, but after watching your lessons, I’ve been able to begin getting into the stuff people want to hear when we’re NOT sitting around the campfire. Most of my playing has been country rock, but I’ve found that a few blues notes have really added to some of the material, at least the band thinks so, ahem!!
