why is my ring chime pro blinking blue

So i'm guessing my old Chime just died. This is normal and indicates the Ring Pro internal power cell is charging. The light is a charging meter that will shut off when fully charged. I have unplugged reset and started over with Chime numerous times and all I have is a solid blue RING. Try signing in and out of the Ring app. Mine too is close to 3 years old. So if you have a solid blue, I would assume it is working and connected. The Blue light moves upwards on the ring. The camera of your video doorbell is booting up. Do you have a network monitor app?
