- First print out the sight word punch cards onto cardstock and cut them out.
too Yes Day isn’t a day where everyone does every little thing they want to do. It’s hard for them to have their own voice sometimes.
The kids all loved it and Zach said it’s his new fav local ice cream place! What is “Yes Day” I’m not sure if there is an official definition of Yes Day but I consider it a day where the kids get to make plans and decide what to do during that day. For the best experience, please use Chrome or Firefox. Can we please go to Kaleidoscope to make some art? They can plan the day, but their plans have to align with our regular schedule. I’m I’m not a HUGE fan of it but they watch it at school sometimes and we have some random dvd versions that apparently came from China so it was a generous “Yes” I didn’t mind giving! the Fountas and Pinnell first grade Finally, tap the and tell the story of what you would do on Yes Day. With humor and appreciation for life's little pleasures, Yes Day! Three well put together family packets, with additional resources. Setting ground rules for “yes day” and our Yes Day 2019. For lunch they had a picnic outside with their swimsuits on so they could quickly start swimming after eating!

Can you tell I’m pretty limiting on the amount of screen time they have on a daily basis?

There are 7 sets to this download. You will print & laminate the four mats, or make duplicates of the one or two you want to use based on the words you want your kiddos to practice.

I’m a pretty hardcore mom and others are shocked that I’d allow the kids to be in the drivers seat for planning their day. For us parents, a huge 'Yes' is our kids.
I pick a day where we have nothing planned so the kids can have a blank canvas to work with in organizing their day.

I expected a few of these items but really thought she would want to do a more elaborate things – what she really asked for was more time with us and less of the 'we have to do this' items. The girls found the Mickey items at Zales Diamonds and Disney are a great blend! Britt wrote out the plans with Kye and Tess in the car leading up to the day! Celebrate Happy Day.

So tough, that I decided to do a Yes Day experiment and have two Yes Day’s!
The original plan for Yes Day was to end with a sibling sleepover but it was literally 9:45 when we got done with the night swimming – which is basically like midnight for my kids haha. 6 different Bingo boards. This week, I’m excited to be working with Kohl’s and some truly amazing bloggers on the #DestinationSummer project.

This free present simple yes/no questions activity helps to teach students how to ask yes/no questions about routine activities. I don’t care if they choose strawberries, grapes, watermelon or blueberries – as long as a fruit is on their plates.
