The theatre, which is owned and managed by Andrew Lloyd Webber’s LW Theatres, is undergoing a £60million restoration project which will see the refurbishment of the Greek Revival front of house design, with new stage facilities, dressing rooms, bars, restaurants, a ‘refashioning of the auditorium to make it able to play in both the traditional proscenium arch and in the round’. It has music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, with a book by Jennifer Lee.
